Mango

The mango is a sweet fruit. It grows everywhere in Bangladesh. The mango is a common fruit of our country.  It is a seasonal fruit, too. It is generally found in the summer season. It is a summer fruit. We get ripe mangoes in the month of May, June, July. Ripe mangoes are red or yellow. The ripe mangoes are very sweet and juicy. Green mangoes are sour. Mangoes are grown commercially in a large orchard. There are many kinds of mangoes grown here. The popular kinds are the Langra, the Gopalbhog, the Fazli, and the Ashwini etc. Rajshahi and Chapai Nayabganj are famous for mango in our country. In Bangladesh people make different types of jam with mangoes. Ripe mangoes are very tasty. People call it 'king of fruits.' The mango tree is the national tree of Bangladesh.
