Rik Mayall

Rik Mayall was the funniest man of his generation. His full name was Richard Michael Mayall. He was born in 7 march, 1958 at Harlow, in Essex of England. He has died recently on 9 June 2014 at the age of 56 in London. He was an English comedian, writer and actor. He was very much known for his comedy partnership with adrian 'Ade' Edmondson. His genres of writing are Black Comedy, Physical Comedy. His notable works are: Rick in The Young Ones, Richie Richard in Bottom, The Comic Strip Presents, Richie Twat in Guest, House Paradiso, Richie Rich in Filthy, Rich and Catflap, Richard Dangerous in The Dangerous Brothers. He is an icon of Modern British Comedy. Barbara Robbin is his wife. They have three children. At the time of his death, Danny Cohen (director of BBC Television) says that, he was a truly brilliant comedian with unique stage presence whose fireball creativity and approach to sitcom had inspired a generation of comedy stars.
