Positive Thinking: A Habit

In this article I would like to focus on "positive thinking". Positive thinking is an art of thinking positively. Positive thinking gives raise to good intentions, good opinions, good expectations. Believing in good consequences is one of the magics that positive thinking gives you.

Usually in life situations you come across many challenges which we have to face. According to Stephen covey's 10/90 principle 10% is what happens to you. You do not have control over it. But, you have control over 90% that is how You react to the present challenge. Facing the challenge positively will give as a number of benefits.
I would like to describe a few of them below.

1. Focus on consequences:
         
If we practice to think positive, we will focus on the consequences of our actions. A man is expressed by his thinking, words and actions. Here the root cause is thinking. So when we develop positive thinking we will focus on results. Thus we will develop to expect only good results.

2. Let past die:

When our focus will be on future, no worry of past. We will leave leaving in past. Our concern will be future. Thus we will start preparing for our best future. Positive thinking is also to leave past thinking.As Albert Einestien  says "learn from yesterday, leave for today and hope for tommarow".

3. A chance to learn:

This is one of the important aspects of positive thinking. As the base lies on good expectations we will be able to learn much more. You will develop confidence with positive thinking. If we learn today it is surely going to help You in future. We are familiar with Thomas Alva Edison, Who developed the first electric lamp. When he was asked about his non tiring effort, He said that I discovered 999 ways that do not work.

4. Let past bury:

This is important after facing a lose. A positive thinker will not blame others for his lose. He will focus on him and discover the reason. Thus he will be able to focus on present.

Apart from this, There are a number of bounties of being positive. When we focus on negative thinking, We discover that the root is comparison with others. Though we know that every individual has a different back ground, we compare. There is a very famous saying " If you compare yourself with others you are insulting yourself". You are a challenge to yourself. You have to compare the results with your previous. Thus you will achieve success in life.
