Female Education

Female education has been given topmost priority during the recent times. Actually, the prosperity of a country depends on the education of her population. More than fifty percent of the total population of our country is female.We cannot expect our prosperity avoiding this large part of population. Proper education of this large part is essential for some particular reasons. Firstly, women have some special tasks and duties. Education is very necessary to perform those properly. Secondly, every woman is a potential mother. Education of a child greatly depends upon its mother. An educated mother would be able to bring up her child properly. Thirdly, social responsibilities should also be shared between men and women. in conjugal life a woman can help her husband. For this purpose a woman should be educated. Besides, women of present society are very neglected. To keep our women free from unexpected negligence, they should be education. There are some people who strongly oppose female education. They think that women's only duty is to run the house and rear up the children. But undoubtedly they are wrong. There is no alternative to female education to ensure sound development of the society. So,all necessary steps should be taken to encourage female education.

It is true that women have many special tasks in life and their spheres of duties are different from those of men. But we should remember that these tasks also need training and education. Unless women get proper education, all their prospective faculties get crippled. It is only by imparting proper education to them that we can expect them to discharge the duties nicely and decently. The education of children depends a great deal upon mothers. Childhood is the most impressionable stage and anything good or bad, taught to a child makes a great influence on his mind. We cannot behave educated and ideal citizens when the mothers themselves are foolish and ignorant. Every woman is a potential mother. The future of a child depends on how it is brought up and educated in childhood. An educated mother is naturally expected to bring up and educate her children better than an uneducated mother.
